Infinite boot and mobilewatchdog.bundle
Hello all!
I have a jailbroken iPod touch that, as of last night, is stuck in an infinite reboot loop. I followed the instructions found [ame="http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94707"]here [/ame]to disable the mobilewatchdog and allow the device to boot normally. That works, but of course with mobile watchdog disabled the device reboots every 7-10 minutes because of the hardware watchdog. Everything I've found about this workaround says that once I get in without issue I should be able to re-enable mobilewatchdog and be good to go, but re-enabling it just sends me back to the infinite loop. I have tried removing a lot of apps (about 20 that I wasn't using) but it still hasn't changed anything. Does anyone have a suggestion about how I might go about stabilizing my iTouch?

Um,The link you posted was a fix for 2.0-2.2. If you are actually running anything from 2.0 to 2.2, I suggest at upgrading to at least 3.1, even for a first gen iPod Touch.
