App Switchers, iTunes, Firmware
Hi,
Another newbee with lots of questions I'm afraid!
I have a 2nd gen iPod touch running 4.0.2. I've started exploring jailbreak features and have a few questions. I've installed backgrounder but circuitous crashes and lands me in safe mode. Other app switchers which I've found on cydia also appear to have compatibility problems with my current firmware. Have I missed a pre-req? Do I need multitasking enabled and if so does that provide an app switcher?
On another note I've read about problems with 4.0.2 on cydia, apple verifying signatures at restore and wiping jailbreak. I knew nothing of this when I upgraded so didn't save my shsh blobs (hope I've understood this correctly). Is it worth upgrading to 4.1 asap? I've just had to reinstall iTunes anyway and despite my library being intact iTunes is insisting on fully resyncing or should I say wiping my ipod. Am I correct in thinking that syncing deletes my jailbreak apps so I need to make sure apps are never synced?
I'm so sorry for all the questions. I'll be so grateful if anyone can help bring this noob up to speed ;-)
Thanks

Excuse the bump but did I ask too many questions in one topic / use forum incorrectly? Don't mean to be impatient, just like to know I can look forward to getting some answers. Thanks

Sorry for the lack of replies, this part of the forum can be slow at times.
Cydia may have saved your SHSH blobs without you really knowing. Do you remember hitting a "make my life easier" button? Also it should say which SHSH blobs cydia has on file at the bottom of the front page.Want to drive an idiot insane? Click Here to find out how.
