The screen is Flexible and cheap on the new ipod touch causing screen distortion


Just as the title states the ipod touch 4g screen is not gorilla glass and bends when pressure is applied. , I thought something was wrong with my ipod touch 4th generation , I first noticed the problem when cleaning the Screen while rebooting my i pod touch. While i was rubbing the screen with a microfiber cloth i could see a halo of white light and general screen distortion , well i immediately went to the apple store the next day getting ready to replace my ipod touch for a better one. To my ever loving horror The very same thing happened with all ten display models. This didn't happen with any other previous touch or i phone models. the i phone four does not have this problem. So apple cut down on manufacturing cost for sure, This has worried me quite a bit. apple no longer means quality to me! I know with such a cheap screen its going to break soon.

I wish they would have given this product 512 mb of ram and a bigger battery as well , I don't care how thin it is ! And don't Give me a cheap Bendable screen that applies pressure to my retina display! I buy these products Because i am rough on all electronics , i am 6.3 and a strong guy who breaks things easily.

Yes I thinks the same thing apple Does not make there iPods good any more I have a iPod touch 2 gen and I dropped it like 50 times and nothing happened. I also dropped it like 5 times from a bunk bed and it's fine. I go to the apple store a lot and the iPod touch 4 is essay to bend and the screen and the Mettle part is way to thin. So maybe the iPod touch 5 will be better.
