You have to have a device with a bootrom exploit to change the boot logo. What model itouch do you have? Then you need to find which jailbreak tool if any for your hardware supports changing the boot image. If you find that you do have a device that is able to be changed, redsn0w will most likely be the jb tool to do it for you. Then you can just search google images for iphone boot logos, they need to be .png format, and I think 600x800 I could be wrong at that though so check into it first.

It's an iPod Touch 4.1, and I've cheaked youtube, and all I've found was Redsn0w, which people on the comments keep saying that it "Broke they're iPod touch." because redsn0w was for lower firmwares.

For you to be able to have a bootlogo you must have a ipod touch 1G (which is not the cas if your in 4.1) or an iPod Touch 2G non MC. To find out if your iPod Touch is a 2G MC or not go to Setings->General->About And then go see next to model the first two letters if it says MC you cant get a bootlogo but if it says something else than you can have a bootlogo(be sure its a 2G) and the bootlogo must be 320x480 and has to have a least one transparent pixel.

I just checked and for you to have a bootlogo on non MC model of the 2G you must use redsnow 0.9.6 b1 which if you need i have.

Damn, can't get a custom boot.
Someone should make some sort of mod for 4.1 so that we can change our boot icons.

well a rumor said that geohot created a jailbreak that you could change your bootlogo on any device but only for that firmware.

That would be a false boot logos having nothing to do with specific firmwares like 4.1 or 4.2.1. It has to do with the type of exploit that is used for that jailbreak.
