how to change statusbar "ipod"
I have a 4th generation touch running 4.2.1 and was wondering how to change the statusbar word "ipod" on the top left. Looks like makeitmine does not work? Any other way? Thanks

I have similar problem. Lots of things like many lockscreen themes and a lot more other theme capabilities like the music player are not working in 4.2.1. don't want to restore to 4.0-4.2, so i think i have to wait until thememakers and make it mine dev team makes a 4.2.1 copy.
it's annoying how MANY themes ive downloaded don't do anything cool because of 4.2.1

There is a similer app to MakeItMine, called FakeCarrier. Try that and see if it's just MakeItMine that is having the issues.

You guys are iPod users, not iPhone users, right? So the AT&T PNGs, Make it Mine, and Fake Caarrier (because we don't have any carrier, just WiFi and iPod) and stuff like that don't work because iOS 4.2.1 on an iPod Touch sucks. Read the whole thread here: Make It Mine Problem
Or just read my post:
I am using an iPod touch so for the ATT logo names, it won't work. However, when I downloaded the Elite Pro HD theme, it came with a custom logo named
([email protected]) so for any IPOD users out there, open Photoshop make a PNG transparent with size 100px by 40px, name it [email protected] , put it in /var/stash/Themes.xxxx/Your Theme Folder/UIImages/ and it should work. If not, download Elite Pro HD and edit that file and it should work.Last edited by wongjmeng388; 01-18-2011 at 01:05 PM. Reason: Clarification
If I helped you, hit Thanks!
Jailed iPhone: I've seen a user pay for apps. Men have made FaceTime calls and hit nothing but a dead zone. Yet their strength and their speed are still based in a world that is built on rules. Because of that, they will never be as strong or as fast as you can be.
Jailbroken iPhone: What are you trying to tell me, that I can screw around with Apple?
Jailed iPhone: No, JB'd iPhone. I'm trying to tell you that you won't have to.
