Charging with this accessory not supported...

I probably didn't search enough, figured i'd ask a few questions here. Hopefully I can get some answers.

Basically, I have my itouch 3g hooked up in my car, and when i turn off the ignition the unit pauses the music and makes it go into sleep mode. When I turn the key on, it takes the unit out of sleep and resumes music play.

The issue is the message. It comes on after the unit sleeps, then stays on. If I make the unit sleep... when it comes back on it defaults to the album list not the music player.

Does ANYONE know how i can either get rid of this message? Or a combination of apps I can install to make it sleep faster, and default to the current playing song in the music player when it comes out of sleep? Thanks!

Occasionally I get the error "Charging is not supported with this accessory" and I solve it by blowing in the connection port on the iPod. I also do the same to the charger/cable.
