iPod turns on, goes to lock screen then turns off.

iPod Touch 2G MC 4.1 Jb with GreenPoison.

Ok, so my iPod has been jailbroken for a while now maybe a couple of months. It has always taken ages to boot despite being untethered and now it boots up, gets to the lock screen, lets me try to unlock it for one or two seconds then turns off.

Will give thanks to any helpful posts whether they work or not!

You try to restore and re jailbreak it and I dont know what Wong with yours because mines work fine I have no problem

i would say just put ur ipod in dfu mode an restore to factory settings

He doesnt have to it well be a wast if time putting in dfu mode if he can connect it to the computer by it self

hi guys,i'm facing a problem with my ipod touch i can't jailbreak it and i don't know the reason,i've tried everything ; redsnow,snowbreeze,greenpoison. everything and i got nothing and when i'm feed up i updated it to the new ios 4.2.1 and also i couldn't downgrade it,i'm also afraid to loss any data. can u help me jailbreak it without lossing any data?? i'm using an ipod 2G MC model and an ios 4.2.1 installed..

I think redsn0w is your only option but it should work. What error are you getting?

Next time, read. The MC model can't currently be jailbroken except with redsn0w 0.9.6b6, even then it's tethered. That mean that you have to plug it into your computer and run readsn0w every time you reboot.

Are you running the program as administrator and in Windows XP compatibility mode. I think that's what the Dev Team Blog suggests
