Digitizer sensors not working?

Hello my ipod recently got cracked and i ordered a new one off ebay and recieved i put it on then to my surprise the digitizer wasnt working well half of it was but the other half wasnt it dont let me unlock i do not want to buy another digitizer nor pay for it to be sent back and fixed any suggestions. Don't pay for it to be sent back. Just tell them that they are going to pay because they sent you a broken product.

I file a report to eby telling them that i got it broken when i ordered a working peace and im not paying to send it back because why should i pay for it to get fixed when it wasnt my fault.
