Change Battery Charging Screen WITHOUT winterboard

Okay i just tested this out, have not seen a post on this in a while. I didnt want to download a package through cydia. i used iphone explorer, and navigated to system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/ and replaced the batteryBG png files with ones i found on here in the downloads section. then a quick power off and on of the device, and my new charge screen looks great.

i was having problems with iphone explorer seeing my ipod, a 2gMC. i installed afctoadd from cydia, which enables advanced usb functionality. it works much better than ssh'ing through putty or anything of the like.

Ya this has been done but winterboard doesn't delete original png. Nice for reverting back.

I didn't want winterboard. It tends to slow the device down. I saved a copy in case I ever want to go back.
