Ipod Touch 4 gen and Wi Fi Sync

Hi is the Ipod Touch 4th Gen firmware 4.1 compatible with wifi sync? It does work with my iphone 4 4.1

When I open the wifi sync icon on my ipod touch 4g 4.1, I get ( the device is not recognized , not supported).

I have done a lot of google searches and you tube searches and it shows the ipod working with the sync but they don't give help for it if it's not working.

So all of you have the same problem. Well I do not know about wifi sync is it app or some thing for jail-broken iPods. Please tell me because I will try to help my best. Sorry I did not what it was.
