Deleting default apps question

This has probably been asked before, many times, but I can't find anything, so here goes:

My question is, using iFunBox, would it be safe for me to manually delete apps such as Stocks, Weather, Voice Memos, Game Center (stupid iOS 4.1 addition), Maps, and Contacts? Would manually removing them possibly brick my iPod?

Side note: I have a 32GB iPod Touch 3G.

I really have no use for those prepackaged apps and I'm tired of having them sitting around in their own folder on my home screen.

Ive deleted stocks.app (I keep the rest just in case) and my phone is fine. That's all I can verify that won't brick the phone

I don't think the other ones will cause a problem, but don't take my word for it. I can only tell you stocks is safe

Errr, you mean iPod. I have (as I said above) an iPod Touch 3G (32GB).

So let's see, so far I know:

Stocks - Safe to delete
Voice Memo - ???
Maps - ???
Contacts - ???
Weather - ???
Game Center (new addition in iOS 4.1) - ???
Nike App (I forgot to mention this one) - ???

If anyone else knows if deleting any of the apps on this list is safe, let me know. Thanks

No, I mean iPhone. Why should it make any diff? We're running the same OS. not like I have an android or anything.

They should be safe to delete but if you are worried about deleting them just hide the icons with poof or sbsettings.
