Ipod Touch 4g firmware

Hi, I am gona buy a Ipod touch 4g at the Apple store. Can anyone tell me what is the firmware that will be on the ipod 4g and what is the current firmware when I plug it into Itunes to activate the ipod? is it 4.1 or something like 4.01 ( that is un jailbreakable )
Simply , is the firmware on itunes still 4.1 ? that is jailbreakable.
