Hey, I just got my new 4th gen iPod touch and restored it from my old 2nd gen backup. No matter what, when I double-tap the home button, the multitasking bar comes in as if it's in portrait, is this normal? Whenever I use the rotation lock it says "Portrait orientation locked" and switches me over to portrait. This seems completely wrong. Does anyone know how to fix it?

no. thats exactly right. its not meant for landscape. and the portrait lock is so you can lay down and use facebook or th internet and such
