Since the new iPod Touch can take HD videos but not very great photos, would it make sense that the camera has the capability to take better photos but is limited by software? There's probably some factor that I don't know, it's just a thought. But if I'm right could that be a future software update?
Yeah the iPhone 4 has 5 MP camera instead of 0.7. I'm thinking if you exported you HD video to your computer, full-screened it, then took a screenshot you could get a really awesome photo. But that might be too lengthy a process… Anyway I still don't see why in the hell they put retina display and an HD camera on an iPod and limited the display quality.
