    Default What purpose does the DCIM folder have on my iPod Touch 2G?

    What purpose does the DCIM folder have on my iPod Touch 2G? It does not have a camera.

    Why is it there, eating over 2GB of space?

    Can I remove this partition and get that free space back?

    It is pictures. You have 2 gigs of pics.

    its for if you save pictures from the internet or if you take a screen capture via power button + home
    then you can go and download them to your pc via usb
