Issues with Veency on ipt2g iOS 4.0

I tried logging in with various VNC clients to my iPod touch 2G (MB), and while I retain the ability to actually controly my iPod, I can't actually see the screen on the PC side of things. I tried downgrading as I've seen suggested, however, the iPod seems to crash instantly on lower builds. Is there a fix for this? I've spent quite a bit of time in Google on this one, so its not as if I haven't tried. n.n:;

No offense... not sure I trust a repository from someone who just joined, and I've never heard of. :/ Maybe if someone can confirm its safe? The fact your repository has no comments on anything bothers me.

Lol why do you think I made my own repo if no one uses it? I made because a lot of pol have this prob and install ebil vee n see it'll work. Unless u wanna ssh so yeah

Is there a fix yet? Downgrading Veency don't work, it just crashes the Springboard.

just use the vnc fix from the guys source it works fine. its a well known fix and appears on many repos

Not trying to look ignorant on this or anything, but several google searches, and searching through the maaannny repos I'm already on don't come up with anything on ebil vee n see. This very message board is basically the ONLY link back in google, to this very page, in fact. I can't find anything supporting that this is a well known fix, or is safe. His own repo even shows little more than 20 downloads total for his entire repo... so its hard to swallow any of this. Sorry for being cautious.
