2nd Gen vs 1st Gen Jailbroken App Question

So I downloaded an app for my jailbroken ipod touch 1st generation, legally mind you, and it turns out it only works with 2nd generation. is there anyway i can install the app on my ipod? i've tried using the hacked itunes mobile installation, that didnt work, and i also tried SSH (directly putting the files in the right spots in the ipod file hierarchy. i've run out of ideas, so i joined this forum to see what you all had to say, plus it looks like a cool forum. any help would be much appreciated.

just download it from your 2gen ipod using the same account or sync it through itunes using the same account you bought the app with

p3bguin911, that doesn't really help. I have a 1st Generation iPod Touch. And the app only works on 2nd Generation and up. I want to know if and/or how I can use the app on my 1st Generation iPod Touch.
