Default Will Apple know my iPod is jailbroken if I break it and want it repaired?

    Hey everyone,

I'm worried that if one day I drop my iPod or it wont work and I decide to get apple to repair it, that they will find out its jailbroken and refuse to repair etc.

My iPod is 2nd gen 3.1.2. I have heard that you can do a fresh restore and Apple can't find out it was jailbroken, but if its not working will apple find out and laugh at me?

Any help would be appreciated on what I could do in this situation.
    Thanks!

Sorry, you'll get no help here for that. As far as jailbreaking, as long as you restore, they will never know..

So far as I know, as long as you restore you'll be fine.
