8g ipt 2g or 3g?
hey guys i was just wondering how do u tell if a 8g ipod touch is 2g or 3g it came with fw 3.1.2 & model starts with MC****

Jailbreak with blackra1n
then reboot. If it reboots normally then it's a 2g but if it says connect to iTunes it's 3g

already did..i get the connect to itunes thing... was gonna restore back to ofw ( dont wanna go through the hassleof running blkra1n everytime) wanted to make sure if it was 2g or 3g so i can get the correct firmware

Then it's a 3g. When u jailbreak everytike to reboot u have to rejailbreak
