Default BIG problems with iPod touch 2G and Jailbreaking!

Sorry to be so annoying everyone, bit Im still learning.

anywho, i downloaded and installed 3.1.2 (legally, from iTunes)

    seen here:

NOTE: I JAILBROKE IT WITH THE NEWEST blackra1n!

but i have a problem with apps crashing. i have just TWO appstore apps, but when i tap them, the open for about 1 second, then the iPod jumps back to the springboard... i have about 43Mb of RAM and HARDLY anything installed from Cydia. and i want to know if there's a solution?

also, iFunBox (in case you didnt know, its an iPhone/ iPod Touch File explorer) reports that it is still JAILED! i ran blackra1n TWICE and both times it said it was Jailbroken.

What the hell is going on with my iPod???

    (((bump)))

    If cydia is installed.....its jailbroken.

Completely uninstall/delete the apps and redownload install them.

Well guys, im not so sure...take a look:

i restored it and ran the blackra1n procedure again, and it seems to have worked... no apps are crashing and the WiFi is working fine (despite TONS of claims that 3.1.2 disables WiFi.) so i should be okay for now.
