i believe that the next i touch should be an iphone and they should get rid of nanos and shuffles. just sell em in different sizes for the price e.g 1 gb classic(1gb shuffle) 32 iphone(32 touch)

I would say it needs speakers. I've had plenty of times when i forgot my earphones at home or in the car, and then I want to watch a vid or something and i realize i can't hear it. even a mono one would suffice.

one interesting observation i made, according to the stats of the poll right now, most people want flash. sure. But most people also want iphone features like bluetooth, speakers and camera.

I don't care much for a built in camera, more RAM, bluetooth, or anything like that.

I just want SPEAKERS!
And flash, just so I could go to espn360.com and watch live games free.

However, not much hardware changes, because then my iPod will feel old.

And I would like a camera, but not built in; plenty of other people are already designing one!

it would be cool to have a slightly different UI so that one could better diferentiate between the iPhone and iPod touch. stereo speakers wouldn't hurt. Bluetooth with a2dp/avcrp enabled would make sense.
