Skype update on modded touch

When updating my skype on my ipod touch i got a pop up HUD saying skype does not support 2.2 or 3.0 modded ipod touch but you cab still use the app like normal after tapping okay. Its odd but kinda cool then yet kinda kreepy when apps know u have a modded ipod
