It stopped working...

Anyone have the same problem and got their iPod Touch 2G to work again?
If so, HELP PLEASE =D!

There is no telling what is wrong with it....what is fried....and if its fixable without taking the whole thing apart and probing all the internals.

Yup!

I did this with my cell(well dropped it in a pool...), put it in a bag of rice, and wait 24 hours, its supposed to absorb all the moisture and water
After 24 hours, try to hook it up to itunes, if it registers it, restore it to the normal 2.2.1 firmware and send it in for a new ipod

All i can really think of, unless you wanna take it apart and stuff

Well, that isn't as bad as the water damage, which Apple does not cover and can check for. So either get it dried out (many ways to do that) or get a new one.

I left my iPod out in the rain this weekend. my touch screen didnt work for a while so i put it in a bowl of rice and left it for a day. it works just fine now. i suggest doing that as dumb as it sounds.

Lol. Yeah water damage voids the warranty just as fast as jailbreaking....actually faster....so either way dont matter.
