i am wondering if there is a way to take out the flash memory that is currently in the itouch ( 16gb ) and replace it with such thing as a 64gb SSD or micro SSD or a simple internals of a flash driver?? i know you would have to reformat it into itouch software but could this be possible? and i know you would need a new back for it.

Its about 99% impossible. The average joe wouldnt be able to do it. And anything bigger than 32gb would likely not fit.

You have 2 options:

1. Sell it and buy a 32gigger.

2. Find (somehow) a 32gb mainboard and swap into yours.
