Cydia Help iPod Touch 1st gen 3.0b2

I have installed Cydia through Icy and it won't load it just crashes are there any files I need for Cydia to run?

Everything that Cydia needs to run on should have been loaded on through the jailbreaking process. Have you restarted your device?

Yea I've restarted and manually reinstalled and the same thing still happens.

what firmmware are you running?

My vote is to restore and rejailbreak with Cydia through Quickpwn, and forget about Icy, since it's RipDev and well, we all know how that worked out with Installer 4.

i think hes trying to jailbreak a 3.0 beta which only gives you icy if you use guickpwn

I'm confused... I am looking for an answer too. The first post about 3.0 by the modmyi moderators said that we could install cydia manually - tried, my phone crashed... I just want cydia.

Cydia does not work with 3.0. Yet.....
