Hey all,

Firstly, If this is in the wrong place then feel free to move it.

Right, there is something weird (but maybe cool?) going on with my ipod touch (1G).

1. I was listening to music earlier, then went to unlock it, but it hung for 3 - 5 seconds. When it 'came round' it made the noise of a picture being taken, and the screen faded. In other words, it did what the iphone does when it takes a picture.

2. Several hours later, I come home and connect my iPod to my PC, but it recognizes it as new hardware. And when it 'installed' the windows dialogue / menu appeared which usually does with hardware (asking what you want to view it with) it has the title Apple iPod, and then underneath it says "camera connected"

I've attached a picture below.



Any idea as to what might be going? I'm not bothered, maybe it could be the start of some sort of discovery? I don't know. Maybe you will?

That is completely normal, nothing bad, an nothing wierd.

It just means you took a screenshot, and when you have pictures on your iPod and you plug it in, it recognizes it as a camera.

also, iTunes even recognises my ipod as an iphone?
