Used all 5 comps... Help?!
I have used all my computers able to be on my iPod. Is there a way to trick iTunes into letting me back up my apps that way I don't lose money on my apps
(cannot deaothorize other computers)

We have more than 5 in our house. Now the boys all have their own iTunes accounts but it got complicated for a while when we all shared one. A few times I forgot to deauthorize a computer before reformatting. If this is the case and you are not talking 6 different machines, is you need to deauthorize all computers. i beleive you are allowed to do this once or twice a year (something like that). Then you can reauthorize the computers you need on the account. If you have more than 6 physical computers, I think you are out of luck for now anyway.

If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.

In iTunes, if you click where your account name is in the store, scroll down and theres a button somewhere in the middle that says deauthorize all. Use that and it deauthorizes all. I had to do it because we accidentally threw away our old computers without deauthorizing.

This is exactly what I was referring to earlier. If you no longer have the computer or have reformatted, which makes itunes think it is a new computer, this is the only way you will be able to deauthorize it. Once you do this you can then go back in and re-authorize the computers you want on teh account.

If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.
