ive been having some issues with my ipod and i updated to vista so only have my songs/pics on my computer and i already used up the 5 computers able to sync my ipod. but all the apps i have bought i dont want to be lost. if i click on restore and then back up will it back up my apps as well? like its a bit hard to explain (on the left hand side of itunes there isnt even an app tab) if you need more info please ask that way we can resolve together
its a itouch 2g and maby there is a software where i can make it a flash drive and drag and drop the files i want. Songs. pics. movies. Apps. idk if thats possable yet.
well there is my problem the only thing i have on my computer off my ipod (new computer than what was originally used)is music and pictures. i have the apps on my touch but not the computer and i cant have my ipod synced with this computer to "share" my ipod's info. and there are no apps on my computer so i was wondering if i click the backup will it back up my apps on the computer and then when the refresh is over will itunes put the apps back on my touch. (paid for mostly all of em and i would hate to lose them :'( ) thank you for your help
If you connect it to your computer (I've done this with an iPod Video, not an iPod Touch), it will prompt you on whether to wipe your device and put the music on your computer. Say 'no' then try to import the music or transfer (through SSH on the Touch or some way, perhaps iTunes has something built in).
