Help me hack my Itouch

Hey guys im VERY new to this, hacking of my itouch. I knew you could do it, and many of my friends have done it. But before i do so i have a couple questions.

I went here to find out info on how do do the hacks/jailbreak.

As i read there were many versions of the Jailbreak, which one should I do? The newest one? Jailbreaking 2.0, or Jailbreaking 2.1

Once i Jailbreak my ipod, what do i do next? is there anything on the ipod after i jailbreak it?

And finally i found a new theme i would like to install, but it is for the IPHONE, and im looking for one with the Itouch. Can the same Theme be used for both?

you can mod the theme for the ipod. as far as the jailbreak is concerned....just buy the 2.2 firmware from itunes, install it, then use quickpwn to jailbreak the ipod. this works perfectly if you have the OLD ipod touches. the new ones cannot be jailbroken yet. if you have any questions please ask

a year ago your fine. all you need to do is buy the 2.2 firmware from apple (just plug it into itunes and click update. its like 10 bucks....totally worth it. then download quickpwn 2.2 from the link below and follow the steps. first get 2.2 installed on there though.

Version 2.2 is free now. I just plugged in my itouch and it updated it for me. No cost.
