iPod Touch blank icons on homescreen?

I recently upgraded to 2.2 and used quickpwn to jailbreak. I have used cydia to get statusnotifer, winterboard, customize, bossprefs, MIM, and the iPod icon instead of music and videos. I have synced all my music on my pod and everything works great. I also have installed a few free apps from the app store. Urbanspoon, Wifinder, Email2sms, Apartments, The Weather Channel, Gasbag, and Ypmobile. If i hold an icon to make them wiggle and move around i have 12 blank icons. That take me to a blank page in safari. They are also called bookmark"" if i delete them from homescreen. My Problem is that they come back after i restart springboard or turn off my iTouch. Not sure if i should have posted this in upgrading/downgrading so i put it in general. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it. I have no bookmarks in safari so i dont know why they would be on my screen. Any help would be great! If not my iTouch works fine just that i have 12 icon spaces i cant use.

In Cydia there are packages that are blanks from Steffwiz, that do the exact thing that youre talking about. See if youy accidentally installed them in Cydia, because when you delete one, it dissapears until you respring. You have to uninstall to get them to really go away. But, other than that, i have no idea. Either live with it or restore.

Well i dont see the packages. I will most likely just live with it for know. If i did decide to restore, I used itunes to update my 2.1 quickpwnd iTouch to 2.2. Can i restore/rejailbreak from the 2.2 software update ispw? Is it the full firmware or do i have to use my 2.1ispw and then 2.2 upgrade/rejailbreak?

You have to add the Steffwiz repo before you will see those packages.

Look on the homescreen of Cydia and go under more repo's. His will be listed, add it.

You can use any .ipsw to restore from and use for jailbreaking (just be sure every program you're going to use is compatible).

So i dont know where the blank icons came from. It's not a big deal just wanted to let people know if they had the same problem. If anyone has a solution besides restore/rejailbreak let me know.

hi i'm not sure but ur blank icons might be (fieldtest,demoapp and/or web)what these are for i don't know maybe someone else might know hope this helps abit

im having the same problem. its really annoying ahving to delete them all. is there a way to do anything other than doing a restore. i just quickpwned 2.2. it was also doing it on 2.1.

im also having this problem. i installed blanknull and i have like 60 of the blank icons after even after i restored they came back
