I forgot my iPod touch code so my brother was messing around with it he is 6 i didn't want him to so i decided to lock with a pass code i entered it correctly put it said wrong pass code then i tried again it didn't work so i am really pissed

Is that before the restore??

Place it into DFU mode and then try it.

sure you didn't, say, find someone elses ipod and ur trying to get around his passcode?

that'd be rude. and considered stealing.

anyone who uses a ipod regularly knows every little nick n nack they do to it daily. forgetting ur code would be the last thing you could do.

but to help you out even tho i think its wrong, a restore is the only way. as cpjr said, put it in dfu and shift+click restore to 2.1

no the ipod is mine i bought it i jailbroke it i upgraded it but i don't know what to do now

the pass code is 1342 if you want to know

oh never mind i made an error when making the code i will never lock it ever again

Glad you got it up and running. I had a passcode for about a day....and took it off.

i noticed if you for the iphone if you hold the power and home button in at the same time a text message comes in it will unlock? go figure?
