SSH only cydia?

Ok is it possible to manually ssh CYDIA to your ipod.

i actually found a cydia file?! its a DEB* file.

If you do not have SSH installed, you can't do such. I don't see it on Installer v4, so if you don't have Cydia to install SSH, you can't even start this to begin with.

May I ask why you are asking such a question? Did you loose Cydia or are you trying to get it on because you just have Installer?

Well Jeckel is right. Without Cydia you probably do not have SSH installed. But there's still a way though, you can use iPhoneBrowser and put in MobileTerminal as well as your Cydia deb file (assume cydia.deb), then execute from MobileTerminal using root access.

dpkg -i cydia.deb

This is just my theory, hope it works

remember my last thread? well i was just wondering if all else fails. was there another way to manually put cydia on there. but like u said. i need SSH soooooo ill try the ideas that u guys gave me.
