    Default ipod touch wifi problem!!! please please helppp!!!

    hey ya'll
    im having so much trouble with my ipod touch.
    heres the thing, i bought an ipod touch 1.1.4 then i upgraded it to 1.1.5, & my sister bought one too her's is 2.1 so since her's is connected to the same computer, i had an oppurtunity to upgrade mine 1.1.4 to 2.1,
    now before all this when my ipod touch was on 1.1.5 i tried to jailbreak it and it crashed, i searched on google how to fix it n i fixed by pressing power off button n homepage button for like 5 secs. now my wifi won't work. i tried reseting network settings but it didnt work
    if there's anyone who can help, ill love you forevaa =]

    Go to your routers settings if you have a WEP key(password to wifi) and change it from HEX to ASCII, and make it prefaced with a, "$" symbol.(Put a, "$" symbol in the front) Ex: $4321 . It may be simply your routers refusing your connection, even if your putting in the right code. I have other fixes too, if that one doesn't work. If you need to know how to get into your routers settings I could also help with that.

    hi, i didn't understand, what's HEX & ASCII? is that referring to an iphone? lol i have an ipod touch. & now my wifi option on my ipod is not clickable like i can't click on it! great even worse!!.. and i tried network reseting. it didn't work
    could you please help me what to do now?

    I just force rebooted ( holding home and power for like 6 seconds) and it fixed, but if that doesn't work you have to restore. Don't listen to the ASCII stuff, it screws it up and it's much harder than a restore.
