I am in my late 70's and struggling with this technology.
I have an Apple ipod that has been fine, but today I downloaded a free CD that came with a newspaper over the weekend. I guess it was faulty.
The ipod software on the computer has jammed as has my ipod itself.
I cannot delete the songs I have transferred over and the ipod remains with the window lit draining the battery.
Can anyone help? I have no idea where to start.
Just to help clarify: Are you saying that you cannot do anything, or can you go to some applications and do things with them, or is it just a mono-color screen? What do you mean by 'jammed'? Do you mean it can't transfer anything or that they can't communicate with each other (computer can't see/read the device)? Answer those and I can help diagnose something for you to do.
You should be able the music from the CD on your computer, if you already haven't.
