Move Contacts From iPod to Computer

Okay, so, I synced my iPod Touch with my computer and it has all of my email contacts. Recently, I wiped my hard drive clean and don't have my contacts anymore. Is there a way I can get them from my iPod back to my computer? I tried using WinSCP, but my contacts are saved there as an SQLite Database, and I'm not too familiar with that. Thanks!!!

I do think syncing is backwards compatible with contacts data (it is backwards compatible with pictures). If you sync it (be careful not to go all the way through such things), it should ask you, 'There's data on this device that isn't on your computer. Would you like to transfer it?' (Be sure you don't have any automatic features related to syncing.) If that doesn't work, just cancel the sync and try something else (can't think of what else at the moment).

I tried that and it just ignored the contacts.

The only thing I can think of is to insert them manually on your computer. Shoulda made a backup

Well I used the Norton 360 Backup thinking the contacts were backed up in part of the Email option, but I was wrong.

Well, then you're out of luck. If you don't have a back-up and it wont pay attention to your device's contacts, then you'll just have to enter them all manually again.

Well, for Outlook, only about 50. But it's a pain adding all of their information. It's not just their emails I have.
