recessed headphone jack on new touch?

Oh crap... i hope its big enough to work with most headphones. I thought Apple had gone away from that idea with the 3g. Surprised to see it on the touch.

It's not recessed, the new iPod Touch's are just that thin. The curved back starts right at the back of the connectors.

it is flush. i can confirm. i bought one this morning. i can use my ultimate ears on it no issues.
