app management issue
i have a 2.02 jailbroken touch. i have organized my apps with the 5 dock and several pages of apps and just started using categories
the issue is whenever i turn off my touch and then turn it back on, or just reload winterboard the icons are all over the place. there will be 3 or 4 icons in the dock, and icons randomly set everywhere. it never stays how i organize them
is there something i missed or something i can do to keep it set how i arrange it?

Remove whatever you did to have a 5-icon dock and see if that fixes it.

Usually it works itself out. I had that happen to me every time i installed something from installer, and after the respring, my icons were all mixed up out of their pages. Try that ^^^ or just wait for it to work itself out.

this did it. now everything is cool.
thank you very much. odd thing tho, i removed flashlight 1.2 by john haney, deleted it using winscp, that's how i put it on there. but its still there. kinda like a ghost or something. it won't show up in categories to put away and it doesn't show up in the stash folder in winscp
anyway to get rid of it?

Search around your device for any remnants of that app, then delete them. Or, if you have BossPrefs, go to Poof and hide the app icon, and the problem should be solved.
