ok i used quickpwn on my ipod touch and it worked great, but now itunes wont detect my ipod, so i decided to restore, a nd it say there is an error and that it cant restore everytime. and now when i turn on my ipod it automatically goes into DFU mode

Is it going into DFU mode or Recovery Mode? If the screen has a pic on it, thats "recovery mode".

To restore you will probably have to use DFU mode, to do this:

1. Power off Ipod, plug into Itunes.

2. Hold power button for 5 seconds.
3. WITHOUT releasing power button, hold home button (now both) for 10 more seconds.
4. Release power button (still holding home button) for around 10-30 seconds until Itunes recognizes it (hopefully).

Then restore.

i got it into DFU mode and it still wouldnt restore please help! is there anything i can do? manually restore somehow?

dfu mode will work, do it differently,


1. Plug into Itunes, Power off Ipod (Home and Sleep/Wake).
1.5 Wait 10 Seconds
2. Hold power button for 5 seconds.
3. WITHOUT releasing power button, hold home button (now both) for 10 more seconds(or two seconds after you see the screen cut out).
4. Release power button (still holding home button) for around 10-30 seconds until Itunes recognizes it (hopefully).
If that still does not work, i have one more idea, ill look for a video that explains it. and ill check back in, good luck

but still...restore with a clean version not a jailbroken one.
