Extend batery's life?

How can I do that?

is bad to discharge completely the battery?
Is better to discharge it just before 20% ?

I think I remember hearing that at the beginning it's good to keep the battery until it gets low, as that helps it use less energy (?). Other methods would be, definitely, shut off all background processes (SSH, WiFi, Push, other programs that run in the background). There are also external battery packs that attach to the port that give extra hours.

i always charge mine when it hits 20-10% depending on my location.. yeah its not good to leave any electronic device plugged in because you can actually overcharge it. Best advice is to charge it when your battery is in the red and unplug it when its fully charged (dont leave it plugged in longer then it needs to be)

If you have a jailbroken ipod touch, what I find very helpful for battery life is to install an app like Respring and use it after I have been using things like games, ipod, safari. You also may want to consider turning off wifi if you aren' t using it.

You might want to use the SEARCH function as this has been discussed many times on these boards.
