ipod touch screen problems

yesterday my brothers iPod fell into water. I gave it about a day to dry out, turned on everything works except the screen is dimmed out like the brightness is turned down all the way. Any help getting it fixed will be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is a dumb questiono

Well, since it's a physical problem, there's not much that you can do. And you can't send it to Apple as they don't cover water damage (but, if the inside of the headphone jack is still black/white and not red/pink, you should be good). You could try to turn the brightness up all the way, make it slightly bearable.
