Rotate Movies?

Can you rotate movies and Youtube movies on the ipod touch?
Sometimes I would like to put the ipod touch into a speaker system with dock, but if i play a movie it plays widescreen (on its side). I can't imagine it being too practical to turn the speaker system on its side

Nope, it is not on the iPod by default and I don't know of anything that can make it otherwise. So get a system that is connected by a wire, or build a rig to accompany your speakers.
