HELP: iTunes doesn't recognize my Touch & downgrade to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2????

I have 2 lil problems here, I'll appreciate any help... Thanks
1. I erase iTunes 7.6. Before that I (TimeMachined) everything + I copy my iTunes Library to my Hard Disk. I installed back iTunes 7.6 and my music is gone, I still have my podcasts but no music. I went to File>Import> My library and nothing, no music came up on to my iTunes.
I need a lil bit of help here.
How I restored everything back...?
2. Other problem is... I update my iPod Touch from iTunes to 1.1.3. Using my work MacPro, then I ejected my iPod Touch to SYNC with my MacBook Pro (where I have all my stuff). And iTunes doesn't recognize mi iPod Touch.
????Weird???
