Best way to jailbreak iPod Touch 2.0?

I've been looking around for the best way to jailbreak but can't find it? What's the safest and easiest way? I'm running Windows XP and I have WinPwn installed. Just a little nervous to use it because it destroyed my iPod where even Apple couldn't fix it.
