I currently have the 1.1.1 firmware installed, after months of using my jailbroken iPod I have gotten it to fit my needs perfectly including merging the video and music icons and making one iPod icon like the iPhone. Adding all of the iPhone applications. Changing a few of the icons of my applications. Installing mobilechat. And Rearranging my icons to my liking. I did not upgrade to 1.1.2 even when the jailbreak came out, mostly because I did not want to go through the trouble and because it did not have much to offer. Once 1.1.3 was released I found that the only things that I wanted from it were the new map and safari features. I'm now waiting for someone to jailbreak the iPod touch's 1.1.3 firmware. Once this happens I plan to upgrade, pay for the iPhone apps and put all the settings I had before back on. That's my plan, and I would like to hear everyone else's plan for the future. In sharing this information we might be able to help each other.
