is it worth updating iPT to 1.1.3?
just wondering if its worth it for updating my iPod Touch to the newest version?
cuz at the moment my main uses for the touch that i need it jailbroken is:
1)Mail app (from iPhone app)
2)Weather (from iPhone app)
3)Maps
4)Theme (summerboard)
5)games
does anyone know which apps would be available with 1.1.3? and which ones won't be?
as well, any main advantages of getting 1.1.3?
cuz i know once its updated, there's no going back right???
thanks in advance

Well you get maps weather and mail with the new touch interface (20 bucks for them) or you can have custom third party apps, skins etc. if you stay 1.1.2 or lower. you decide!

1.1.3 is not worth the hype whatsoever. Very unstable. You can upgrade, and then downgrade if you don't like it. The tutorial is already posted in the Jailbreak/Downgrade section. You be the decider of which you like more.

I think I am just going to wait for the SDK and wait til a jailbreak becomes more easier. I have read some problems with things when jailbreaking the 1.1.3 and I personally am not about to take that chance and screw up my iPod Touch.
Besides, I think once the SDK is out, the developers will be able to make some kick *** apps and I am sure a easier Jailbreak will come out and restoring and things will be easier.

For now 1.1.3 only offers Jiggly Icons but soon it will also offer compatibility with the official 3rd party applications. The main problem would be since apple knows we can just rip these applications that we would have to pay for they will probably invoke an activation process.
