Default How to Remove the DemoApp Icon?

    Greetings,

I have successfully jailbreaked my iPod Touch. Somewhere along the way however, I managed to install a package that added 'DemoApp' to my springboard.

Problem is, I can't find anything in my list of installed packages that refers to it, nor can I figure out a way to make it go away.

Does anyone have any insights as to either what this app is connected with, or how it can be removed?

    Thanks!

Use customize app to hide it.

It doesn't let me. I assume that clicking the 'eye' icon hides it? The only control I have over the 'eye' is clicking the main button in the upper-right, which hides or unhides all.

Also, I'd rather remove the offending app then simply hide it. Any ideas which application is behind this icon? It's a black box with a question-mark in the middle.

    Thanks,

    K

I believe you may be misunderstanding the "eye".

You click the eye then select which apps you want to hide. Any app without an eye to the left of it will be hidden.

Demo.app is an application that comes on the ipod. I don't know exactly what it does, but its not an installer package.

In customize, press the eye at the top right to be able to hide/unhide apps, then press Demo.app so it doesn't have an eye beside it. You can then press the top right button again to lock the hide/unhide feature again.

sorry if that doesn't make sence
