MobileMail on the itouch

HELP!!! I have recently aquired MobileMail from an undisclosed source and I am having issues. I have done just about everything on the other Mail won't work post to no avail. I have run "chmod -R a+x /Applications/*" in the terminal, changed permissions to 777 and all I get when I open it is the gray screen of death and a settings option at the top! Any other ideas out there?

Just use ipod touch fans installer source. It's got Mail,Maps,Notes, and a few other.

Did you install the prep app before installing mail?

Yes. I think you have to for Mail and Maps.

where do i get the prep app? I just changed my permissions back to 0755

all you have to do is add this source - http://repo.us.to and you get 2 new catagory in installer that gives you iphone applications for firmware 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. just remember to install the prep apps before mail and maps.
