iPhone not charging or recognised. home button not working. :/

Hey..
My home button is not working ie when I'm in an app, i cannot get out of that app without restarting the phone. Also, the iPhone is not detected by my PC or Mac, and it will not charge.

Is there anything I can do? I haven't really done anything to the phone, although it has been dropped a few times in the past. If I don't do something soon, it's gonna run out of battery and I won't be able to charge it or it will crash and i won't be able to restart it as I can't use the home button >.<

What can I do ?

I think the only option you have is to Restore, turn the iPhone off and back but only this time pressing the Home button as well.

Restore it, plug it into the computer and hold the Off/Sleep button and Home button simaltaneously for 10 seconds. Actually 10 seconds like 1 123 2 123 3 123 etc.
Good luck with it

Back to home screen.

Ok I so know how much this sucks, and when I broke my last iPhone's home button I figured it out.

Set the phone so that it is pasword protected.
Where you would enter the four digit number press "Emergency call" then the back button.

That will get you to the home screen, it's a pain in the *** but it's better than having to restart your phone every time you want to go home.

Good luck!!!

If your bottom plug in isn't worked, that's a problem with your flex cable. You can pay one1 to fix it if you want.

I think I have had the home button not working problem, too, and I was still able to hold the home button and power button and it would restart and the problem was fixed.
