once u get it, u can connect ur ipod, shift-click update, pick the new firmware file

set it to dfu restore mode

then itunes will prompt you to "restore and update"
click it, and voila
now u have 2.0 for free

if you look at all the firmwares the numbers get higher.
345 was the last beta thats why you can only get it on torrents.
the new one is 347 thats why its available thru apple.

5a345 is more stable than 5a347
they are the same, except 5a347 has more bugs, aka 345 is more stable
when i updated it through itunes, it updated to 5a345, so thats the one apple is planning on sticking to

usually higher number does equal better bug fixes
however in this case, it does not, don't ask me why
they are at least identical, and at most 345 is better than 347

5a345 was the last beta (beta8), 5a347 is the final FW 2.0 ...

This is for iPhone... but i think its the same for iPod Touch ...
