My ipod's apps keep freezing, and it cant go standby!

I have an ipod touch (16gb) on 1.1.4, i used ziphone

The ipod will start up ok and the home screen all works also the wiggle feature and sliding from left to right, but when you hit the power button it wont go to sleep it has a dimmed light on. when you go to open any app they will open but then freeze and you can't click on anything or scroll but then i can press home and scroll on the main menu.

Please help!
